Repurposing waste / discarded cardboard from local businesses.
We're working on alternative shipping packaging and reusing cardboard - so using it one more time, giving it one more chance - before it is sent to recycling, good job!
More jar drop stations will appear here, but for now, you can drop your empties (and re-stock whilst you are there!) at Taste Nature.
or
Fizz a message to hello@gingerfoxfoods.com and we will be happy to collect any empties.
Food manufacturing constitutes 33% of global emissions. That is a massive contributor. We are always striving to be lean; how we operate, what ingredients we use and trim our emissions and environmental impact wherever possible.
We wanted a sustainable option for our labels and locally sourced to Dunedin. We found paper options as well as PVC free reusable vinyl with an easy peel (both simple soak in hot water to remove) forgiving adhesive backing. Also, if you hand wash them we reuse the labels when you return them to us, brilliant!
Our GRAINS peanut butter uses locally sourced organic produce from the South Island of New Zealand
Our CRISPY peanut butter uses locally sown, grown, harvested buckwheat from nutrient rich soils of the South Island in New Zealand.
Buckwheat fact: When the buckwheat is planted, phosphorus that is bound in the soil can be released and it also attracts beneficial insects to the area, including our old friend the bee, meaning high pollination and our suppliers also produce honey; so, by choosing CRISPY you are also helping the bees, bravo you! Methods to produce the buckwheat is a blend of conventional and organic farming affording the means to reduce chemicals, fertilisers and sprays, that's more great news!
